Parish Faith Formation
Faith Formation is something we engage in throughout our entire
lives. From the smallest toddler who expresses awe at the wonders
of nature to the older adults who strive to remain connected to
a community and Church that is bigger than themselves, we all absorb,
teach, grow and live faith every day. Our Lady of the Lake strives
to provide faith formation for all ages and walks of life. Some
of them are age-appropriate in order to provide peer-centric support
and catechesis. Others overlap generations, providing perspectives
and sharing and learning that can only be achieved through inter-generational
formation.
ADULT EDUCATION
Adults strive to integrate their lived experiences with their
faith. Our Lady of the Lake offers a variety of experiences that
assist in this faith development. From service projects to social
opportunities, there is a wealth of opportunities for everyone.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity (during
most 10am Sunday Mass) for children ages 5 through 12 to hear
God’s Word proclaimed and discussed at a level easier for
them to understand. The children are dismissed right after the
greeting and return for the Liturgy of the Eucharist and remainder
of Mass. There is no need to sign-up in advance, simply come and
follow the candle bearers.

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION
As part of our Baptism into a community of faith, we are called
into a relationship with God that engages our participation as
members of a parish and the world-wide Catholic Church. We continue
to grow in faith through worship and learning together, serving
others and encountering Christ through Sacraments.
